备受期待的西海岸嘻哈接班人Kendrick Lamar新专辑《To Pimp A Butterfly》在iTunes提前上架！但随后TDE唱片方面发布消息称这可能是Interscope唱片公司的操作失误。这张专辑是Kendrick Lamar继好评如潮的《Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City》后的第二张专辑，专辑名灵感来自于美国女作家哈·李的著名小说《To Kill A Mockingbird（杀死一只知更鸟）》。此前发布的单曲《i》和《The Blacker The Berry》均引起较大反响。
“To Pimp a Butterfly” (previously known as “[Untitled]“) is the upcoming third studio album by American rapper Kendrick Lamar. It’s scheduled to be released on digital retailers on 23 March 2015 via Top Dawg, Aftermath and Interscope Records.
This album arrives after winning GRAMMY Award for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for his urban smash hit “i”, and after releasing another new single called “The Blacker the Berry“,
The pre-order of the album was released on iTunes on 6 March 2015, including “The Blacker the Berry” as instant download track. The “[Untitled]” third studio album will be released on digital retailers on 23 March 2015 via Top Dawg, Aftermath and Interscope Records. Before that, he plans to release another promotional track “County Building Blues” on 10 March 2015. The song was previously released only as Target bonus on Lamar’s album “good kid, m.A.A.d city” in 2012.
The pre-order of the album was released on iTunes on 6 March 2015, including “The Blacker the Berry” as instant download track.。

呼应近期的黑人人权问题，i和u又表现了自爱和自毁，也像pac一样歌颂了自己的母亲，延续了mcgk的故事连贯性，加上kdot走心的采样，让近期chink刷屏的hiphop音乐刮来一阵清风
