同年凭借个人创作的第一首歌《红灯绿灯》，入围“兴网”首届全国大学生原创歌曲大赛决赛，最后获得“制作人特别推荐奖”。
2001年三月进入中央电视台足球之夜栏目组担任音乐编辑至今，负责“足球之夜”“天下足球”“足球转播”“足球彩经和彩报”的节目配乐。
在此期间主要作品有：2002年韩日世界杯期间《我爱世界杯》节目配乐；大型纪录片《米卢时期》音乐创作；足球之夜片尾歌曲《视线》创作并演唱。
