年度十佳:07.William Ryan Fritch - Revisionist(Contemporary Classical,Experimental Folk,Chamber Pop)★★★★★ 5.0/5Free Download: /s/1gdxkKQv 320kbps年度十佳:Timbre - Sun and Moon(Chamber Folk,Experimental Folk,Neo Classical)★★★★★ 5.0/5 Free Download: /s/1eQrpAc6 FLACThis indie, alt-classical, art concept album is near impossible to categorize. The Nashville-based, ultra-talented Timbre Cierpke is a professional harpist who has recorded not only with orchestras and choirs, but also Jack White and Ricky Skaggs. She can write pop-oriented chamber-folk songs for a band, as she does here on Sun, the first disc. But wanting to show that commercial and classical music share sounds and themes, Timbre composed the classical tracks for orchestra and choir that comprise Moon, the second disc, where musical echoes and reverberations draw us back to the earlier indie-pop songs.Timbre’s enchanting soprano reminds of the vocalizing of Celtic Woman, and she embeds her voice in melodies and arrangements that suggest the mystery and beauty of a band such as Sigur Rós. The album is exquisite, well worth listening to. But in our age of single song downloads and a band’s need to support a release with heavy touring, I’m not sure how an album such as this one will find an audience.年度十佳:25.Membranes - Dark Matter/Dark Energy(Post Punk,Indie Rock)★★★★☆ 4.5/5Free Download: /s/1mgnFbE4 FLAC Fronted by charismatic singer John Robb, the Membranes formed in the wake of Punk in Blackpool in 1977. Membranes made a huge impact on the post-punk scene of the 1980s, with John Robb also establishing himself as a music journalist of note. John Peel was a huge supporter and bands as disparate as Mercury Rev, My Bloody Valentine and Big Black have cited them as an influence. After Membranes folded, John returned to the stage with Sensurround and most notably Goldblade, before rekindling Membranes a few years ago. Dark Matter/Dark Energy is the first Membranes album since 1989. It's awash with their off-kilter mix of angular post-punk adventure, Krautrock-ish soundscapes and edginess. The album is inspired by a conversation with Joe Incandela, the head of the CERN project about the Higgs Boson particle (Joe is on one of the tracks). It's all about the life and d during recording, John Robb's father died and the album is also about him. The album is preceded by a Record Store Day 7 of the musical juggernaut that is Do The Supernova.年度十佳:20.Kovacs - Shades Of Black(Soul,Jazz,Pop )★★★★★ 5.0/5Free Download: /s/1nt09uAl WAV 年度十佳:08.Daniel Knox - Daniel Knox(Singer Songwriter,Indie)★★★★☆ 4.5/5Free Download: /s/1jG5SB2I 320kbpsLong known for darkly distorting traditional American popular song styles-inspiring collaborations with David Lynch and Jarvis Cocker along the way-Knox’s latest work signals a new, more wide-ranging songwriting that invites listeners into his twisted world of time travel, abandoned shopping centers, and growing up in a slowly fading middle America.Comprised of ten original songs inspired by shadowy memories of Knox’s childhood hometown of Springfield, IL, as well as two recent collaborative performances with noted photographer John Atwood, the album features Knox’s powerful and unique baritone along with backing vocals from The Handsome Family’s Brett Sparks and vibraphone by Thor Harris (Bill Callahan, Swans, Shearwater)all backed by a large ensemble of brass, strings, woodwinds, choir, synthesizers and other musicians.“Everything that came out of that,” says Knox about his work with Atwood, “and the work that followed, seems rooted thematically in the past, but the structures and arrangements felt like something new that had been there all along–like finding a hidden room in the house you grew up in.”Several of the songs in this collection were composed while in residency at Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center in January 2012. Recordings took place there, in Knox’s Chicago apartment, in a makeshift studio in an industrial building with Justin Dennis, and at Chicago’s famed Electrical Audio with engineer, Greg Norman.Knox has previously collaborated with artists such as David Lynch and Jarvis Cocker (contributing backing vocals to the latter’s “Further Complications’ album) and he has scored for film (The Poisoner, dir. Chris Hefner) and theater (Mary-Arrchie Theater Co’s The Glass Menagerie, Annie Baker’s The Aliens at The Pushkin Theater in Moscow, dir. Adrian Giurgea). He has also performed with the Handsome Family, Richard Buckner, Swans, Josephine Foster, Jon Langford, Nina Nastasia, Rufus Wainwright and Andrew Bird.年度十佳:34.Mutiny on the Bounty - Digital Tropics(Progressive Rock,Math Rock)★★★★☆ 4.5/5Free Download: /s/1dDGwXxR 320kbpsFree Download: FLACMOTB are a band that have soared from strength-to-strength with every album by delving further into their individual personalities to explore new sounds and composition techniques. In doing so the band have reached new territory exploring a more deceivingly moody soundscape than ‘Trials’ which is both technically challenging yet entirely danceable.‘Digital Tropics’ is a work of relentless convergence and exploratory disposal that reaches to the heart of both emotional and creative expression. The result of which has created MOTB’s most diverse and accomplished album to date. 年度十佳备选:33.Don Peyote - Blue Lotus(Ambient,New Age,World)Free Download: It's been a while since Yvon Mounier (Don Peyote)'s last release 'Heaven and Earth' in 2012 and this latest offering of tribal instruments, Amazon forest field recordings and multi-layered synthised drones provides a deeply meditative, shamanistic soundtrack which he recommends is listened to in one sitting in a darkened meditative environment. The journey starts with the aptly titled 'Beginnings' where rippling waters and bird song are soon accompanied by an ambient drone which is a quick introduction to the excellent 'Deep Earth Groove' where Byron Metclafe's frame drums, rattles and clay pot provide a ritualistic background for Ganga Giri's didgeridoo.'Liquid Chimes' provides a brief and haunting interlude of synths, chimes and field recordings before 'Ripples and Mist' adds a dark foreboding ambient drone to the sounds of the rainforest. This darkness is soon compensated by the incantation like mantra of the late Hermana Maria Luisa Tuesta Flores in 'La Madre Icaro' icaro's are shamanic chants which are believed to offer protection, evoke spirits or healing, learnt from the spirits themselves with the aid of ayahuasca.Eerie ethereal synths join the rainforest field recordings in 'The Way Of Light' pave the way for the title track 'Blue Lotus' where rain sticks, shakers and wooden frog underlay Dan Richardson's bamboo flute, the central piece in this slow paced and deeply meditative excursion which co-incidentally is the longest section of the composition.'Thunder In The Forest' provides a brief interlude of chimes, drones and field recordings before Dan Richardson's bamboo flute is employed again in shorter but equally beautiful 'Heart Flute in A min' which leads into the gentle incantations of 'Ocanocanoe Sacred Song' which I assume is another Icaro. The final piece of the journey is a mellow combination of deep ambient synths and field recordings entitled 'Onward' indicating it's not an end to the journey but rather a beginning.年度十佳备选:36.Tigran Hamasyan – Luys i Luso(Jazz,Classical)★★★★☆ 4.5/5Free Download: /s/1jGxXyQU FLACTigran Hamasyan may be impossible to pin down stylistically, a pianist former musical collaborator Trilok Gurtu has even commented tellingly “plays piano like a raga.” As one of the most acclaimed beyond-genre jazz pianists of the past decade he is performing with the Yerevan State Chamber Choir digging deep back into his Armenian roots recording this beautiful album in Yerevan, the Armenian capital.Luys i Luso is an extraordinarily spiritual album that has a humbling majesty and stillness to it. The title meaning, in English, ‘light from light’, explores Armenian sacred music, the pianist loosely improvising around Armenian modes at one with the chamber choir interpreting newly arranged Armenian hymns, sharakans (chants) and cantos some dating back to the 5th century by among others Grigor Narekatsi, Nerses Shnorhali, Mesrop Mashtots, Mkhitar Ayrivanetsi, Grigor Pahlavuni and Komitas mainly written in grabar, the oldest form of the Armenian language. There’s little here to compare with anything undertaken by a contemporary jazz musician apart from say Keith Jarrett’s explorations of the mystic Armenian modes and atmospheres of Gurdjieff in the 1980s with the cult Sacred Hymns of GI Gurdjieff, or cellist Anja Lechner’s later duo explorations of Komitas and others.A different mindset is needed as a listener away from fixed styles and comfort zones. On the metrically complex ‘Ov Zarmanali’ Tigran breathes wind into some improvisatory runs to break loose a little more than the otherwise tight structures allow, the piano parts not written out within the arrangement giving him a lot of room for interpretation. Later there’s a surge of power and inspiration the choir responding to Tigran’s sudden freedom on Mashtots piece ‘Voghormea indz Astvats’ a fasting canticle and plea for divine mercy. The vibrato-less singing style guided by four-part harmony remains simple and pure throughout. And there is no conscious or forced meeting of ancient and modern or diverging traditions that might dilute the impact of the collaboration, the piano part and sacred voices somehow achieving a oneness, the monastic atmosphere of the whole album magically conveyed. The heady themes of repentance, devotion and struggle unite in an unerring mood that holds your attention from start to finish remarkably powerful even in the secular world we live in.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------新上线:37.Lifeless - Insider(Ambient,Modern Classical,Experimental)Free Download: /s/1o61npWm FLACLifeless is a multi-genre one man musical project.---Samara, Russia新上线:35.Hibou - Hibou(Jangle Pop,Indie Pop,Post Punk)Free Download: /s/1ntmuYut 320kbpsFormer Craft Spells drummer Peter Michel steps out in front of the kit with Hibou, a dreamy new Seattle post-punk project that builds on the legacy of Wild Nothing and DIIV. The 21-year-old’s self-titled debut is out this fall on Barsuk, and lead single “Dissolve” suggests it’s gonna be a good one. The track starts out as an especially warm and friendly spin on the C86 sound — all steady pulse, luminescent guitar, and mystical whispers — before exploding into a wonderfully florid prog-rock finish that feels like an entire woodland scene bursting into a celebratory dance routine, possibly with aliens present. It’s a surprising turn that marks the song as more than just an excellent genre exercise and Hibou as more than torchbearers in a storied tradition. In her early years, she studied drama & ballet. After high school she toured Canada with a dance group. After taking a job as a chorus girl, she decided to pursue a singing career. MGM executives saw her in a TV commercial and she was signed by MGM in 1952. She was the first American singer to record at Abbey Road Studios in England. Her fan base even included Asia and the Philippines. She had 7 top hits, including &Why Don't You Believe in Me?&, &Your Cheating Heart,& &Almost Always,& and &Have You Heard?& 21.Prinzhorn Dance School - Home Economics(Post Punk)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1hqD2rTq FLACPrinzhorn Dance School arrived fully formed with the minimal post-punk of 2007’s self-titled debut and, following 2012’s more leisurely Clay Class, Home Economics continues to finesse, rather than develop, the Brighton-based duo’s bass and drums blueprint.According to a press release, Tobin Prinz and Suzi Horn’s third outing hears them veering further away from the minimalist austerity that comprised their self-titled debut and further embracing the “human warmth” introduced on Clay Class. The new songs were inspired by a string of American live shows in 2013 and recorded on the move between apartments in the UK cities of Brighton and Hove. The tracks were then “wheeled around town on a hard-drive wrapped in a sleeping bag in a specially-adapted suitcase” in order to immediately capture any flashes of sudden inspiration. These measures eliminated the “frustration you feel when you spend days trying to recapture the intimacy of a particular moment,” according to Prinz. “This time we could just use the original take, so sometimes these songs are almost like field recordings.”With just six songs making the final cut, the band aimed to capture an “infectious sense of urgency.”13.The Bright Light Social Hour - Space Is Still the Place(Psychedelic Rock)★★★★ 4.0/5Dreamlove (Official Audio)/watch?v=qOaGBF8rcCQSlipstream (Official Audio)/watch?v=dr0U-SbtFK8Free Download: /s/1nt7jhP3 FLAC18.Villagers - Darling Arithmetic(Indie Folk)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1mgIbm8S FLACPow - Fight Fire(Post Punk,Garage)★★★☆ 3.5/5Free Download: /s/1o63KvQq FLACAfter releasing a debut album that had all the energy of a band trying to fight its way out of a cage full of hungry tigers, San Francisco’s POW! turns in a second album that lacks that kind of desperation and fever, but makes up for it by being weird in all the right ways. Hi-Tech Boom was a precise, tight garage-with-synths pop album that sounded like it was recorded in one frantic session, with muddled, slightly
Fight Fire has a much cleaner production style and less of a feeling that everything was bashed out in one take. Not that this is a T it’s not slick by any stretch. The chunky guitars, ripped-up synths, and trash-can-lid drums definitely keep it from sounding too pro. And even though you can hear the band a little better, the album has a little more variety from track to track, and there are a few more briskly meandering synth interludes, this is still just as much of an exciting rock & roll record as their debut. Those who like a little bit of subtlety and restraint may even find Fight Fire to be more satisfying, since the band seems to have a firmer grasp of dynamics and arrangements this time out. The clarity and power of the lead vocals really helps put the songs over, as do the sharpened ax blows of the hooks on songs like “Liquid Daydream” and the garage-tough “Cold Blooded Judge.” Living up to a name as active as POW! could have been tricky, but this is the second album where the group finds itself more than up to the task, having cranked out an album that’s pretty much nonstop thrills from beginning to end.19.Konntinent - The Empire Line(Ambient,Glitch,Experimental,Minimal)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1sjJUmol FLAC23.Jeremy Young & Aaron Martin - (Modern Classical,Ambient,Experimental)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1qW7i5kS FLACA spring 2014 tour involving Sontag Shogun and Aaron Martin proved to be a fertile and fortuitous planting ground for this first collaborative outing between the Topeka, Kansas-based cellist and Jeremy Young that was developed in the months following the tour. The Palaver Press co-founder has established a name for himself as one-third of Sontag Shogun (Ian Temple and Jesse Perlstein the other members), which traffics in an alluring fusion of experimental sound treatments and solo piano compositions, while Martin has pursued a similarly bold approach on solo albums and collaborations with kindred spirits such as Dawn Smithson (as Winter’s Day), Dag Rosenqvist (as From the Mouth of the Sun), and Christoph Berg.Presented in three parts, the album’s title track not only alludes to the transmission of energy that transpires between individuals within a live setting but also the interactions between two individuals as they collaborate from separate locations. A scan of the instrumentation involved — Young credited with tape loops, guitar, zither, brushes, whisks, and field recordings, and Martin cello, vinyl, lap steel, bowed cymbal, bowed banjo, organ, and singing bowls — offers an immediate impression of the ambient-drone soundworlds generated by the duo. Structurally, each of the four tracks starts with a tape loop culled from piano playing by Young, which is then augmented bit by bit with other elements. The repetitive lilt of that opening piano phrase imparts an hypnotic quality that’s never wholly negated, even when the gradually swelling mass grows so dense the phrase is rendered almost inaudible.Blurring into slowly congealing masses, tape-collage treatments, lilting piano melodies, field recordings, and thick cello textures figure prominently on the thirty-eight-minute recording. During the second part of the title track, Martin’s cello voice moves forcefully to the forefront, though electric guitar strums, lap steel, and Young’s waterlogged piano melody are also present. With echo effects worked into the production design, “Berceaux” exudes a particularly dream-like character, and of the album’s two compositions, it’s this one that’s the more luscious and entrancing. Without wishing to take anything away from Martin’s contributions, A Pulse Passes from Hand to Hand doesn’t sound all that much different from what one might encounter on a Sontag Shogun release. That’s certainly no cause for complaint, however, as probably anyone familiar with the trio’s recordings would agree.03.John Carpenter - Lost Themes(Deluxe Edition)(Soundtrack)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1i3ziy9n 320kbpsJohn Carpenter has been responsible for much of the horror genre’s most striking soundtrack work in the fifteen movies he’s both directed and scored. The themes can instantly flood his fans’ musical memory with imagery of a menacing shape stalking a babysitter, a relentless wall of ghost-filled fog, lightning-fisted kung fu fighters, or a mirror holding the gateway to hell. The all-new music on Lost Themes asks Carpenter’s acolytes to visualize their own nightmares.“Lost Themes was all about having fun,” Carpenter says. “It can be both great and bad to score over images, which is what I’m used to. Here there were no pressures. No actors asking me what they’re supposed to do. No crew waiting. No cutting room to go to. No release pending. It’s just fun. And I couldn’t have a better set-up at my house, where I depended on (collaborators) Cody (Carpenter, of the band Ludrium) and Daniel (Davies, who wrote the songs for I, Frankenstein) to bring me ideas as we began improvising. The plan was to make my music more complete and fuller, because we had unlimited tracks. I wasn’t dealing with just analogue anymore. It’s a brand new world. And there was nothing in any of our heads when we started other than to make it moody.”As is Carpenter’s style, repetition is the key to the thundering power of these tracks, their energy swirling with shredding chords, soaring organs, unnerving pianos and captivating percussion. Horror fans will be reminded of Carpenter’s past works, as well as ancestors like Mike Oldfeld’s Tubular Bells and Goblin’s Suspiria.“They’re little moments of score from movies made in our imaginations,” Carpenter says.“Now I hope it inspires people to create films that could be scored with this music.”04.Petite Noir - The King of Anxiety EP(indie Electronic,Alternative R&B)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1gdtgRlh 320kbps09.Sizarr - Nurture(Alternative Rock,Electronic)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1o6ojGNK 320kbps10.San Cisco - Gracetown(Indie Pop)★★★ 3.0/5/blogs/newsFree Download: /s/1gdthMFp 320kbps12.British India - Nothing Touches Me(Indie Rock)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1kTpClev FLAC14.Errors - Lease of Life(Electronic)★★★☆ 3.5/5Free Download: /s/1qWMCyJU FLAC15.Portico - Living Fields(Electronic,Downtempo)★★★☆ 3.5/5Free Download: /s/1qWn02yo FLACBefore you ask, Portico are not Portico Quartet.Yeah, you might recognise three members of the original four-piece, but Living Fields is – as far as their press release goes, anyway – a debut album from a brand new band. And, it’s really beautiful.A moody, elegant record with flickers of shiny, shiny pop, Living Fields navigates a tricky path between the purely atmospheric and the DISTINCTLY rhythmic, throwing a nod to post-XX spaciousness without any hint of mimicry. Throughout, starry-eyed guest vocals come from Alt-J’s Joe Newman and crooner Jamie Woon, but full marks go to Jono McCleery, whose voice glitters, ice-cold, on three of the album’s very best numbers.Thoughtful and understated, Portico are serenely aware of their brilliance and happy to sit back and let you realise it, all in your own time. The opening title track sets the bar high in a manner so self-assured it’s almost confrontational. Closer Memory of Newness manages to be razor sharp and serenely hazy at the same time, with just the whisper of a post-dub beat to tie the knot. A ‘new’ band they may be, but Living Fields is a triumph of Portico’s already well-travelled, well-tested talents.16.Colleen - Captain of None(Alternative Folk,Folktronica)★★★☆ 3.5/5Free Download: /s/1mgMe8i8 320kbps22.Tame Impala - Currents ★★★☆ 3.5/5Free Download: /s/1o688CC6 24bit FLAC26.Versengold - Zeitlos(Medieval Folk,Folk Rock)★★★☆ 3.5/5/watch?v=1WkzvHmNrssFree Download: /s/1hqrRegW 320kbps27.Sweat Lodge - Talismana(Stoner Rock,Heavy Psychedelic)★★★★ 4.0/5 Free Download: /s/1c0fj2dM FLAC28.The Fratellis - Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied(Indie Rock)★★★☆ 3.5/5Free Download: /s/18ZLnC FLAC29.Small Feet - From Far Enough Away Everything Sounds Like The Ocean(Indie Folk)★★★★ 4.0/5Free Download: /s/1gdAlN6V 320kbps30.Foals – What Went Down(Indie Rock)★★★☆ 3.5/5Free Download: /s/1hqvqUZq FLACAfter the international chart success of 2013’s Holy Fire, Foals officially embrace that album’s rich, atmospheric post-punk revivalism over the rawer math rock tendencies of earlier LPs for their fourth full-length, What Went Down. Only ghostly traces of math rock remain on the album, such as when sustained synths wash over interlocking drum- guitar meters on the closer, “A Knife in the Ocean.” The majority of the record avoids any prior levels of intricacy, opting instead for intense airiness in the form of passionate, danceable ruminations. Above all,
even at relatively sleepier moments, drums kick in as if on cue and set any lost momentum back on track (“Give It All”). Vocalist Yannis Philippakis pushes his voice harder than ever before here, both in terms of range and strain, and his ability to at times resonate like Ian Curtis and soar like Bono is no small feat. The sparkling, rockin’ title-track opener introduces his yowl with a clamoring swagger throughout the instrumentation, and with lyrics like “I buried my guilt in a pit in the sound/With the rust and the vultures and the trash downtown.” Also vigorous, the particularly post-punky, Motorik “Snake Oil” later plows straight into the lighter but rhythmically locomotive-like “Night Swimmers.” There are calmer moments, like the slower, more spare “London Thunder (“I’m on the red-eye flight to nowhere good”), but the album’s intensity and pulse remain. Ultimately, What Went Down should please fans of Holy Fire, and they may not be the only ones drawn to its gloomy and persistent energy.31.Max Richter - From SLEEP(Modern Classical)Free Download: /s/1hq0bmZi FLAC32.Max Richter - SLEEP(Modern Classical)Free Download: /s/1gddIEGj AAC07.William Ryan Fritch - Revisionist(Contemporary Classical,Experimental Folk,Chamber Pop这张真是好到没话说Awakening悟这张年度十佳没跑了,感兴趣去听听他前期以器乐为主的几张专辑 有不少异域 第三世界的音乐元素 做得都蛮晦涩实验的,简直是鬼才一枚。这种在米国的独立音乐圈就是另类,跟什么布鲁克林那一帮腐生玩梦幻后朋迷噪的完全不是一个路数。自闭症患者求All we are 还有吗?XIURL前段时间被度娘吞了/s/1mg428Ec自闭症患者谢谢!XIURL感恩。 :)rickie?? Tell me tell me please don‘t tell也超赞! 里也是超赞,编曲和MV完美契合VickyGuo这个是他们在Show Me The Money 4和韩国Hiphop组合Epik High的Tablo合作的Live 这首歌Airbag是Tablo自己的单曲,和Hyukoh合作按照乐队的要求改了编曲,这个现场很好,尤其结尾的Base处理绝赞VickyGuo//CrTB71T0B?from=page_2342_profile&wvr=6&mod=weibotime&type=comment
